Hive in new construction
This hive was only a week old. It was in a new building that was being built for Grand Canyon University.
Do not sit here !!
You might have heard of a hot seat but this is a stinging seat.
Bees will build in any space that is the right size and not too hot so this sofa on a back porch in the shade was a perfect place.

Hive moved in
This one moved in when the owners were away for the summer. It was attacking the neighbors. They called the owner and he called me. I often do removals when no one is home...
Bees in a pot!
These girls moved into a flower pot that was stored upside-down. This makes a nice home, they go in the holes in the bottom of the pot. So if you want to donate a pot to my collection just store it upside-down in the shade. The Bees love pots stored this way...
Hive in a
Valve box
Bees love valve boxes. I remove a lot of hives like this one. That's why you should check them before you run your lawn mower over them. If there are bees coming in and out of the hole in the lid then call us before you mow. DO NOT lift the lid! They will not leave they will just sting you and anyone that walks by them. By lifting the lid you might get one of your neighbors stung and make it harder to do a safe removal.
Bees chilling under the porch
This hive set up under a porch. You will see bees do this on a hot day. They stand in place and use their wings to move air to cool the hive they also carry water to the hive and spread it around making a living evaporative cooler. They are very good at keeping the hive both warm and cool.
  1. I have been keeping bees since 1973

I have always been fascinated by these little insects. I was 12 years old when my dad brought 2 hives home one day. No one else would go near them, but I could not stay away. I spent days watching them come and go. There was only so much I could see at the entrance not having a vail or smoker. It was risky business opening one but I just had to see what was going on inside that hive so I gently pried the lid off. It had lot of burr comb dripping with honey. I was able to pull out a frame full of honey before they got too grumpy. After getting stung a few times I put the lid back on, took my sweet reward and ate my first piece of comb honey. Now I was really hooked and had to learn how to do it the right way. I had to save for a while to get a book on beekeeping. I finely got my first book The "ABC and XYZ of beekeeping" It wasn't long after that I started an observation hive in my bedroom window, this way I could really see what was going on inside the hive. I would go to sleep listening to the hum of bees cooling the hive and as the new queens were about to leave their cells I could hear them challenging each other with a loud peeping sound. There were some drawbacks with having a hive in my bedroom like the occasional escape that would cause some  panicking among my sisters. And every one that came to the house had to see the hive so I had to keep my room clean for the visitors. One day there was some one over to look at the hive and they were talking about how it looked like a little bee town below my window. By this time I had a lot of bee hives spread all across the yard.  We started joking around trying to come up with a name for this bee town some one said Beesville and its always stuck in my head so Beesville Bee Farm just seem to fit. I have kept bees as a hobby for so many years now its time for me to help them. I am working on growing our new business into more than a hobby. I am passionate about these little insects and now they need my help. To me beekeeping is more like a calling than a job. Scott Allen Clark...

Bees had made a hive in the water meter box on my property.  Having used an extermination company in the past, I thought why not try to have them taken away instead of killed?   So I did a search on  beekeepers to see if having them relocated could be done and if it was costly.  I'm so happy I found Beesville Bee Farm!  Scott was able to come out the same day I called him.  He is very knowledgable and had great tips on keeping an eye out for areas around the house/yard where bees might make a hive,  what to do to prevent it,  and if they've already made a hive, to _always_ avoid them, even if they seem non-threatening at the moment.  It was also fun to get to see (and hear) the bees once they were safely in their travel container and to find out more about them.  So not only fast and easy, it was a great learning experience as well!  With the charge for his service comparable to extermination companies', along with the good feeling you'll get from "saving" the bees, why not give him a call?  The next time bees move in, I'm calling Scott!  I HIGHLY recommend Beesville Bee Farm!

Scott, was so nice came out the same day I called, at dusk so that he could remove all the bees.  Took the bees , the Honey and the comb away.  I was glad I did not have to kill them.  He was fast , effective and reasonably priced.  I hope they never come back but If they Do, Beesville will be my first call!

I had a swarm of bees living in my shed. Scott came and took them away. Not knowing if the bees living in my shed were good bees or bad bees, I needed a professional. A friend of mine recommended Scott's bee removal service. Once he identified the bees he went right to work . For Scott it seemed an effortless task. He truly is the BEE Whisperer. It was fascinating to watch the procedure with his smoker and transport box. He went right in and got the Queen and every one else followed with NO fatalities ! He took them away with the last few stragglers following behind him ,. My shed was BEE free and safe again.! I would highly recommend Scott's BEEVILLE BE FARM for any bee problem's.

Don't wait until it gets this big

This one was attacking people that walked on a nearby street so the city of Phoenix made the homeowner do something about it. I was completely covered by bees right after taking this picture so DO NOT take pictures or video without a vail it could cost you your life. Some hives are very aggressive and will attack you unprovoked. If you are attacked do NOT wave your hands, just cover your eyes with your hands and get inside a house or car or get as far away from the hive as you can. If bees have stung you or touched you then DO NOT go out side till you have washed any place a bee landed, stung, or hit you. They mark you with a pheromone its how they call for backup so as soon as a bee catches that sent it will stop whatever it was doing and sting you. This is common for Africanized bees and most feral hives in Arizona. Africanized bees can be deceptively gentle when they are small they seem to know they can not afford to lose so many bees in a massive attack. People are always telling me that they were nice bees for the first few months or longer, then when they get larger and that nice hive under the shed that never bothered anyone kills your dog or stings the gardener. So take care of a hive when it first shows up it will cost less and it will be safer for you and your family.
